Here is a preview of some key initiatives and features I've had the opportunity to work on at Axos Bank, previously known as Bank of Internet (BofI).

Small Business Lending

Drove product design strategy and delivery for a new small business lending platform by working directly with the Head of Small Business Banking.

Pre-Qualification Wizard

A simplified multi-step experience to allow merchants to quickly check pre-eligibility for a loan before starting an application. High-fidelity designs were delivered and developed.

Loan Application

A digital application to allow applicants to enter their personal and business information with the ability to review pre-eligible amounts and terms without submission. High-fidelity designs were delivered and developed.

Application Portal

A portal to allow applicants to keep track of their application progress and complete additional tasks to get their application funded. High-fidelity designs were delivered and some development was started.

Underwriting Portal

An internal underwriting platform to allow underwriters to review applications, manage documents and make offer decisions. Early MVP UI explorations were delivered.

Underwriting Admin Portal

MVP of this project would allow the Head of Small Business Banking manage credit criteria and financial factors parameters for the underwriting decisioning engine. Early sketches and wireframes were delivered.

Consumer Enrollment

Own delivery of features for the consumer account opening experience and application management .

Application Mobile Enhancements

Optimizing the user experience for bank account opening through a branded mobile-focus redesign. Initiative was delivered and launched.

Rebrand Workflow Update

Delivered an Axos-branded UI update and simplified new applicant workflow. Initiative was delivered and launched.

Admin Portal

Allow internal decisioning teams to review applicant information and make decisions based on risk engine factors. Initial designs were delivered and reviewed by stakeholders.

Selfie & ID Verification

Allow applicants to submit identification document and selfie to reduce risk of fraud during account opening. Initiative was delivered and launched.

Investment Account Enrollment

Create a new user flow to integrate required investment account questions and allow users to open an investment account. Initiative designs were completed but not reviewed by stakeholders.

Online Banking

Designed features for both web and mobile app (Android & iOS) online banking platforms.

Debit Card Activiation (Web & App)

A feature to allow customers to activate their debit card and set up a pin without having to call. Feature was delivered and launched.

Account Settings (Web)

Allow customers to add beneficiaries, add a second account holder, and review other account settings within online banking. High-fidelity designs were delivered.

Account Gamification (Web)

Motivate customers to complete task and earn rewards for a higher APY rate on their account in addition to other perks. Initial designs were delivery for executives review.

Multi-Biometric Option Login (App)

Explored multi-biometric login options, including voice, face, and pincode. Initial designs were delivered and reviewed by stakeholders.
